Kasanje
Reino histórico de África, asentado a orillas del alto río Kwango, en lo que hoy es Angola.

Fundado en 1620 por un grupo proveniente de Lunda, sus habitantes fueron conocidos como imbangalas. A mediados del s. XVII tenía un comercio pujante con los estados del interior y con mercaderes portugueses. Su monopolio del comercio portugués-africano en el interior se mantuvo hasta 1850, cuando los ovimbundus abrieron rutas y mercados alternativos. Ocupado por los portugueses, Kasanje fue anexado a la Angola portuguesa en 1910–11.
